You do have enough reason to stay lazy and go nowhere during while you are at Green trees. But for those who seek to discover and experience the nearby attractions, we do have quite a lot of options.

Athirappilly waterfalls
One of the most enchanting water falls in the country, Athirappilly waterfalls with its beauty and majesty is real feast for your eyes. The surrounding lush green nature with streams and rivulets passing through the rocks adds music to the serene atmosphere.

Charpa Waterfalls
As we go forward from athirappilly waterfalls, Charpa waterfall is on the roadside. Another beautiful spot to spent a few minutes and enjoy the beautiful waterfall. Charpa waterfall is seasonal and would be seen only during the monsoon.

Vazhachal falls
This waterfall is a natural wonder. We have a walking path of around 1 km by the side of the waterfalls with resting spaces in between. We can spend hours feasting our eyes on this beautiful creation by nature.

Malakapara
The drive to Malakapara would help us to experience the rich flora and fauna of the rich rain forests of I; Sholayar. The winding road, with thick vegetation on both sides gives a rare feel of the variety in forests, which you may not experience elsewhere.

Valparai
As we drive ahead from Malakapara, we enter into Tamil nadu and reach Valparai. Valparai is a small town surrounded by beautiful tea plantations. The upper Sholayar dam is located here.

Thumboormuzhi
Thumboormuzhi is a river diversion project by the irrigation department. We have a very beautiful garden here where children and elders can relax and enjoy nature. The highlight of Thumboormuzhi is the hanging I, bridge which is built across the chalakudi river. We also have a beautiful butterfly garden here.
